Whether it is Youtube videos, news articles, TikToks, podcasts, or a variety of other platforms, social media has opened up a world of opportunities to find peers with similar interests. True crime is particularly interesting as it introduces a sense of vigilantism and social justice among those who see themselves as part of the "True Crime Community" as well as understanding the intent behind this community that outsiders may not get.
